About the role

Lead the technology strategy, implementation, launch and operation of B2B and B2C digital marketplaces across web and mobile channels, including integration with SAP S4HANA and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Own marketplace strategy, platform selection, architecture, roadmap, business cases and delivery budgets.
• Develop customer account structures, approvals, contract pricing, checkout, payments, loyalty, order tracking and returns.
• Enable supplier onboarding, catalog and inventory feeds, fulfillment collaboration, commissions and settlement controls.
• Coordinate warehouse and transport workflows, order allocation, availability and customer commitments.
• Lead ERP interfaces, automated reconciliation, monitoring, testing, data migration, releases and launch readiness.
• Oversee cybersecurity, privacy, continuity, incident response, vendor performance and service management.
• Define performance dashboards, adoption measures, training, operating documentation and continuous improvement plans.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related discipline. At least 10 years in digital commerce, marketplace technology, software delivery or enterprise platforms, including five years leading teams, programs or platform delivery.

Demonstrated accountability for launching and scaling marketplaces, B2B and B2C workflows, ERP integrations and live platform operations is required. Direct SAP S4HANA integration experience across SD, MM and FI CO is strongly preferred. The advert also seeks marketplace delivery experience at Amazon, noon or another established marketplace, sector or GCC familiarity, Arabic and English digital experience awareness, and a relevant postgraduate qualification or recognized professional certification.
