Inventory Planner

Caterpillar is recruiting an Inventory Planner in Riyadh for its SPM Oil and Gas parts business. The official vacancy was posted on 16 October 2026. Requisition R0000398481. This is a regular full time, office based role working five days a week, with travel to customer and operational sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan inventory and replenishment to maintain critical parts availability while controlling excess stock.
• Build demand forecasts, monitor stock shortages and supply risks, and improve inventory accuracy using ERP systems.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, warehousing and operations teams.
• Investigate discrepancies, prepare reports and improve inventory controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, business administration, operations management or a related field.
• At least four years of relevant inventory, materials or demand planning experience.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP or Syteline, plus advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to travel.
• Oil and gas, industrial equipment, energy or aftermarket parts experience is preferred.
