About the role

Supervise crews installing, maintaining and repairing overhead and underground electrical transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew activities and oversee equipment, materials and operational records.
• Assess crew performance and provide training, coaching and corrective guidance.
• Improve work methods and coordinate electrical clearances with utilities.
• Oversee installation of high voltage connectors, transformers, switches, cables, poles and metering equipment.
• Report progress and enforce safe working procedures.

Requirements

Electrical institute diploma and 6 to 10 years of experience. Skills in quality, safety, troubleshooting, hand and power tools, equipment maintenance, teamwork and communication; physical fitness is listed.
