About the role
An industrial technology company seeks an OT Cybersecurity Design Engineer for office and customer-site work in Al Khobar. Qualified Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Design security architecture and protections for industrial control and safety systems.
- Implement endpoint protection, application control, SIEM, network firewalls and intrusion detection.
- Deploy backup systems, network management tools and domain-controller policies.
- Maintain firmware, patching and host security controls.
- Install, configure and test systems at factory and customer sites, including FAT and SAT.
- Prepare design specifications, network diagrams, asset inventories, test procedures and maintenance documentation.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in electrical, computer or a related discipline; cybersecurity qualification preferred.
- At least three years in design/site engineering with IT/OT cybersecurity experience.
- At least two years on large EPC projects and three years in design, engineering and site execution.
- Experience with industrial control systems, brownfield oil and gas projects, relevant codes and Shell engineering practices.
- Knowledge of virtualization, backup, patching, domain services, endpoint protection, SIEM, data diodes and industrial monitoring platforms.
- OT security certifications such as CISSP, GICSP or OSCP are desirable.
